A Gift for Myself – The Story of a Customized Classic Name Frame

The idea that a gift is always meant for someone else—somehow, it never felt right to me. We usually give gifts to people we love, or to wish someone well. Isn’t that so?

Then why not love yourself first? I believe we should also give ourselves gifts as a symbol of self-love and good wishes. For a while, I had been thinking of creating something new. Suddenly, the idea of a custom frame with my own name came to mind!

So, I made this “ARNAB” frame—something that’s not just a collection of photos, but memories, moments passed, and countless stories.

ARNAB—my own name. In each letter of this name, I placed moments from my life that are truly precious to me. College days, solo travel, school reunion, special festivals—altogether, like a tiny diary of life.

While making this frame, I realized—gifting yourself isn’t just about owning a product, but about honoring and loving yourself.

I created this piece almost two years ago. It’s still on my desk today. Every time I look at it, I feel—this version of me is made of many colors, many moments, and to myself, I am truly special.

What I’ve learned from creating this:
Behind every name, there’s a story, love, and a pile of memories. This frame brings those memories to life—through every letter and every photo.
